We are committed to respecting your privacy and protecting your personal data, which is any information that is capable of identifying you as an individual person. This Privacy Policy applies to the website(s) and mobile applications (together, the “Sites”) provided by Wang & Company LLC, a company headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts, USA, and/or the other companies of the Wang & Company (“Wang”, “we”, “us”) who act as data controllers with respect to the personal data you share with Wang under this Policy. The Sites include www.wangcompany.com and additional websites or mobile applications produced and managed by Wang. This Privacy Notice is intended to describe the practices Wang follows in relation to the Site with respect to the privacy of all individuals whose personal information is processed and stored in the Site.

Wang reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to alter and update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We invite you to review the current version of the Privacy Policy each time you return to our Sites.

What personal data we collect and how we use the information

Information we collect

Wang collects personal data in the course of its business activities, including in connection with some client services. We also collect personal data on certain areas of the Sites when you create a user profile, register for Wang newsletters and alerts, fill out a subscription form or consulting expertise inquiry, participate in user posting areas and surveys, and/or apply for a role at Wang. Personal data we collect might include your name, e-mail address, title, occupation, company or university affiliation, industry, region/country, relationship to Wang, reason for contacting Wang, topics you are interested in, any other background information provided with an application and any other information contained in messages you send us.

We may also collect information about the devices you use to interact with our Sites. The information we collect may include your IP address, device type, web browser, and browsing information collected through cookies, web beacons, pixels, clear gifs, and other similar technologies on our Sites. We may also automatically collect information about how you use the Sites, such as what you have searched for and viewed on the Sites. The information automatically collected will be associated with any personal data you have provided.

We may also collect personal data about you from third parties, such as data brokers or aggregators, in the course of its business activities including in connection with some client services. We do not intentionally collect any special categories of sensitive personal data via our Site. Sensitive personal information includes racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, genetic or biometric data, health information, sexual orientation, and in some cases, social security numbers or financial information.

Use of information

We, along with our Partners, may use the Information to:

  2. fulfill your requests for information, including without limitation requests for newsletters and notifications,

Who we share your data with

How we protect your data

Even computers that don’t appear to have any valuable information can be attractive targets for attacks. Compromised computers and other devices can be used as a foothold allowing attackers to spread through the network. We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data from loss, misuse, alteration, or destruction.
